Importance of Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration in Maharashtra-

History Behind Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration:
Ganesh Utsav was popularized during the late 19th century, when freedom fighter Bal Gangadhar Tilak decided to organize elaborative pandals in Pune in 1893. While, Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations are observed in the states of Karnataka, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Gujrat, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Goa and Odisha.
The festival is also observed in Nepal Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the grand festivals in India that reverberates divinity, excitement , unlimited celebrations, the aroma of modak tickling your nostrils and there is spirituality everywhere.
