Oh! Gajanan, you are Pratham pujniya.

With the mighty pen of your intelligence; helps in cutting our agyana.

With your beautifully carved eyes, enter my soul and smash all my sins and material desires.

We come before you; we know how small and incapable we are without your blessings.

With your mighty presence all our problems will be vanquished forever.

Tears are shedding from our eyes; by looking at your form.

Keep residing in our heart and mind,

Your wisdom cannot be compared by anyone; be bow down before you.

Oh! Bappa you are an ocean of mercy.

There is no work which is completed without you being involved in it.

You reside in your heavenly abode with Mata Parvati and Lord Shiva who are worshipped by several devotees in this entire cosmos.

One who worships you will attain courage and he or she will never fail in their future endeavors.

With durva on your feet; please calm down our whirlpool of thoughts and raging anger within us.

Your cute and innocent form will always be worshipped by the devotees.

With your mighty trunk you are capable of removing several forms of obstacles from our lives.

These hibiscus flowers will spread colors in the life of anyone who worships you Bappa.

You are widely known as 'ek - danth' and char bhuja dhari.

You are the leader of the elephants you are dukh harta and sukh karta .

Every year you grace our homes with your presence we are so fortunate to have such a loving Bappa.

Even our scriptures are blessed to have your past times carved in them.

With your Maha - kaya you keep a close watch on everyone's actions.

This year, I pray at your lotus feet that Bappa give us strength, courage and intelligence to overcome each and every single situation in our life.
