The Dance of the Little Stars.

One Navratri night, the sky above a village looked extra bright. The stars twinkled as if they too were celebrating.

In the village square, children were learning garba. Everyone clapped in circles, but little Arjun stood shyly in the corner. He loved watching, but he was afraid to dance—what if he got the steps wrong?

As he sat alone, a tiny star from the sky floated down and landed on his hand. “Why are you sad during such a happy festival?” the star asked.

“I don’t know how to dance like the others,” Arjun whispered.

The star giggled. “Dancing isn’t about being perfect. It’s about feeling the joy of the Goddess in your heart. Come, I’ll show you.”

The star began to spin gently in his palm. Arjun copied it, spinning slowly, then clapping. Soon, he was moving in circles, and the star sparkled brighter. Other children noticed and joined him. The circle grew bigger, everyone laughing and clapping together.

When the garba ended, the star flew back to the sky. “Remember, Arjun,” it called out, “every step of joy is a prayer to the Goddess.”

From that night on, whenever children danced during Navratri, they looked at the stars above, believing that little star was dancing with them.
