Greetings readers , wish you all a Happy World Nature Conservation Day as we all know human activities have a devastating impact on natural vegetation and natural resources .
Rapid industrialization and cutting down of trees for making required space for growing population is leading to climate change and also there is a lot of pressure on the land due to migration needs of people are not satisfied there is no sanitation facilities for them .
Growing population , is causing commercial fishing over exploitation of natural resources in large numbers release of CFC's is destroying the ozone layer mining is also becoming a huge threat for the environment.
Spreading awareness , about environment conservation has however , grown in the past few years, we still have to go a long way to achieve better results.
The aim behind celebrating this day is to raise awareness among people about the importance of a healthy environment , many perform various activities so that the environment is clean and green each one of us love nature but if we don't conserve it then what we will look at? we have to change our mindset to avoid environment related issues and let animals live in peace and harmony by cutting down trees we are destroying their homes why do we have to make these innocent creatures homeless?
Due to water pollution, aquatic life is in danger not only aquatic life but also due to the melting of polar ice caps many animals are suffering awareness raising only will not help strict actions have to be taken.
A healthy environment is always a foundation towards a productive society, conservation means the wise use of resources for good of humanity.
Here are few measures which you can take to conserve our environment:
1. Recycle reusable and biodegradable products .
2. Reduce the consumption of water use only when required .
3. Reduce the use of electricity switch off the appliances when not in use .
4. Plant trees to keep the planet green .
5. Do compositing in order to avoid unwanted littering .
6 . Produce materials as per requirements over production leads to generation in huge amount of wastes .
The theme for this year's World Nature Conservation Day is ''Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet.''
The theme , aims at the importance of the co - existence of people and resources around the planet and sustenance of resources and their availability for future generations have to be ensured by us thus , the focus this year will remain around forests and livelihoods .
'' Conserve environment be a part of this conservation day and change your way of thinking '' .
