Lord Ganesha the most intelligent , witty , powerful , first to be worshiped demigod , before starting anything new we only worship one demigod he is also known as Vighan harta [ the one who vanishes all the hurdles ] .
As stated in the scriptures , Lord Ganesha is also known as Gajanana or Ganraya there lies a short story behind this unique name once Lord Shiva wished to meet Mata paarvati but she was busy bathing in order to stop Lord Shiva from entering she created a strong warrior which was none other than Ganesha himself many of them tried to stop Lord Shiva but he would not listen but this time there was a boy guarding the gate after telling Lord Shiva that he would obey his mother in anger Lord Shiva urged forward and be headed Ganesha , suddenly Mata Paarvati came running from inside and pleaded in front of Lord Shiva to give back her son's life then Lord Shiva ordered his men to search for some creature who could match Ganesha's body soon the men found an elephant baby's head and soon it was attached to Ganesha's body with blessings of everyone he become Ganpati .
In Maharashtra , every year Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with pomp and show , fire crackers blasting in the air , people dancing with joy , big pandals every where , each house beaming with sparkle of lights , Ganpati ideals of all sizes gracing everyone's house . Streets of Mumbai at night filled with crowds , each child's hand filled with modaks and traditional sweets , children welcome Ganesha by saying ' bappa aala ' .
He is also the friend of children so many films like 'oh my friend Ganesha keep on releasing to keep children connected from their roots as Indian citizens .
This Ganesh Chaturthi lets pray to Lord Ganesha to protect our whole country from this grave pandemic and shower his unending blessings upon our families and poor as well who all out there are suffering from many problems during this lock down and for all the government officials and soldiers who are endlessly contributing to such a great cause .
