In the lap of Nature (self composition)

The moon smiling at me,

The stars shining at me,

My heart observing the mirage of temporary happiness,

Birds singing a different note,

Growing and flowing,

Is this my only goal?

The moon smiling at me,

The stars shining at me,

My life swirling in the hurricane of uncertainties,

Sometimes, I am confused and sometimes, I am extremely excited and cheerful,

For these eyes will never stop dreaming,

The moon smiling at me,

The stars shining at me,

Can moving on will make anything perfect?

Broken walls and broken hearts,

The moon smiling at me,

The stars shining at me,

Some colorless moments flashing down the streams,

I want to fill the pages of my life with beautiful lines,

The moon smiling at me,

The stars shining at me,

The mirror on the wall has so much to convey, but its lips are numb,

The pillars are silent on a deepest darkest night,

Pencils scribbling and dancing,

The city life has its own hustle and deep secrets,

For there is nothing peaceful in the lap of nature,

The moon smiling at me,

The stars shining at me.
