International Chefs Day was created by the late Chef Dr. Bill Gallagher in 2004, let's celebrate this day to honor our noble and professional chefs who are very important to us.
Over the past few years, World Chefs has been partnered with Nestle Professionals to teach children around the globe about the importance of healthy eating by hosting fun- filled workshops worldwide.
This year International Chefs Day will widely emphasize on sustainability and the environment to ensure a healthy planet for future generations, it is also vital and mandatory for us to teach children about the impact that production and consumption food has on the environment.
This day was also instituted to remind chefs that it was their duty to pass on their knowledge and culinary skills to the next generations of chefs with a sense of pride and commitment to the future.
The word 'chef' is the short form of the French word 'chef de cuisine', meaning 'chief of the kitchen', as the chief he or she has many people working under him or her - including several cooks.
Working as a chef gives you immense joy and freedom to be creative than any other career , cooking also encourages you to make adjustments and create new and interesting flavors every chef has a different taste and magic in their hand this is what makes them special and innovative from others.
