I would like to rate this short film 9 out of 10 because it clearly connects you to the emotion which has been depicted in the entire film and you cannot miss out on the small and adorable moments.
Caregiving is one of the hardest and the most selfless job in this world, it requires a lot of devotion and sacrifice and caregivers are not aware of any boundaries.
After Bellie lost her daughter and husband Ammu and Raghu became her entire world she would take good care of them and fed them like a mother showing her selfless love.
These indigenous communities hold an extra strong bond with our environment as they are raised in these conditions understanding and communicating with mother nature and the different species residing in it.
In this short film and documentary Bomman regularly bathes Raghu while he bathes in the same pond and plays with Raghu everyday.
Seasons change but one of the hardest season is summer wherein, the wild elephants search for food and water in this process many baby elephants are left behind in the harsh condition of the jungles.
Raghu was brought by the Forest Department his mother died on the spot after being electrified when they went in search of food and water Bomman took responsibility of Raghu.
It was a difficult journey for this South Indian couple to raise Raghu but after so many repercussions they raised him with all the love and warmth.
Humans have forgotten to respect their forests and we have started taking these valuable things gifted by God for granted it because we have become so ruthless elephants are forced to leave the forests and go in villages.
However, Bomman always considered Raghu and Ammu as a gift of Lord Ganesha who had bestowed upon them and they taught that elephants are not dangerous.
Bomman and Bellie had faith that the younger generation will be ready to take this responsibility and we will make this earth a better place to rather than promoting animal slaughtering and many other crimes attempted against speechless animals.
