Literacy has always been an in signified jewel stored by humanity as we developed our in bound desire to explore the world and experiment different aspects of science we started reading and learning .
As early humans also we were learning starting from understanding our needs and preferences we started discovering the proper use of fire , leaves , twigs and created weapons for our protection from animals and also realized the need for shelter and food to survive the atrocities of life .

It was celebrated for the first time in 1967 it's aim is to high light the importance of literacy to communities and socities .
